The week after we got home from the hospital my Dad and Suzanne flew down for the weekend to meet the newest Yarbrough. I have never seen more joy on my sweet dad's face...they were in LOVE! Dad and Suzanne would sit and hold him for hours - it was precious time and I am so thankful that they were able to come! Who knew spoiling could be so easy from 14 hours away?!?! We are looking forward to taking W to Dallas...one day :)
This past weekend Bryant had to go to the Little Foote to cook...so we took our first trip to Gran and Grandpa's house in Selma. I wasn't quite ready to venture out and stay on my own...plus there were a few people who couldn't wait to get their hands and lips on my sweet baby's face!
Side Note: For my friends who are moms....WHY DID YOU NOT TELL ME HOW MUCH I WOULD HAVE TO PACK?!?!?!?! For my friends who aren't moms....you will one day have to pack your ENTIRE house to take a 2 day trip with a newborn (thought I should go ahead and tell you!) It will be easier to attach your house to a trailer hitch and just drag. I.KID.YOU.NOT!
Anyway, William was able to meet the rest of Bryant's family and a few close friends! The boys all came home from the hunting club on Saturday - and it was a race to see who could get to little man first....Grandpa won! :) Let's just say he is SMITTEN! It was also nice to have several extra hands to feed, change and just love on the little guy while B and I were just able to sit and relax! Saturday I spent the morning at the spa (thanks B!) so Gran and Aunt Steph had sweet time with W, wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get my hands on him again! They sure love this precious baby!
Thanks Gran, Grandpa, Uncle Mo and Aunt Steph for a wonderful weekend!!
